I had the great pleasure to interview Leo Visscher, the head of Alligt.nl and Dietrich Lohmeyer who is the boss of Akkurad.com. The manufacturer of the Go-One (3, Evo, Evo-R) seems to be working on a new model, this time a “head-out” version. Marcus van der Wehl, the inventor of the rear-steered and front-wheel-driven Velayo offers some new options. Back in the late 1990s the Russian firm Berkut built two velomobile prototypes. One seems to have ended in Canada, the other one is now for sale in Germany. Daniel Fenn, who will attempt to set a new record for the 24h HPV next weekend still works on the vehicle, he wants to use for this: A new variant of the Go-One Evolution R.
