I received an information from the Schwalbe public relations office. Ralf Bohle, who founded the German tyre producing company Schwalbe, died. I offer his family my condolences. Find the press release after the break. It is less than a week. On 24th and 25th of April the most important show for everybody interested in recumbents, trikes, velomobiles, cargo-bikes, E-bikes,…, the Spezi, is taking place in Germersheim. Unfortunately, I will not be able to go there for professional and private reasons. I am really sad about that as I [...] On Saturday 24th of April 2010 HP Velotechnik, Hasebikes and the Special Bikes Show in Germersheim host the biggest trike race in Europe. In short racing runs of a couple of minutes, the fastest trike rider on the track in front of the Germersheim town hall, which includes a banked curve, jumps and a water [...] You may have read already in the recumbentblog.com or in ligfiets.net. During a discussion on the Bentrideronline.com message board, a velomobilist, Josef Janning, expressed his wish to cross the USA in his VM. After a short while this has become the Roll Over America Tour (ROAM). The developments of the plans can be followed [...] Bea (Cab-bike.com) posted in the Velomobilforum that there will be velomobile meeting in the Hessian Highlands this year. On 25th of January, I published a post about the new Alleweder 7. As a reaction on this post, a comment was sent which someone who called himself “Kaczy Marek” wrote: I am proud of my design. This velomobile has been created in Poland. I spend a lot of time on redesigning “old” Alleweder into this [...] Lars Reisberg spends a lot of time on his HP Velotechnik Speedmachine travelling with it. Now he felt like changing its look and as he liked the good old Bianchi-style in celeste and white, he started the operation “celebrating celeste“.
