This red prototype seems to be the earlier prototype. As most Berkut trikes it is front-wheel-driven and steered. This is archieved by a central gear-box with cardan-shafts. Thus the drive train is completely inside and protected. The body is closed, therefore the gear-box can be switched to reverse gear. You can currently buy this very special velomobile from a German bike shop (more photos there).
