Christian von Ascheberg achieved 1000km after 19h 27min! He broke Jeff Nielsen’s record (1109km) after 21h 36min! This means he may go farther than 1200km in 24h!!!
*Update* Apart from Christian also Charles Henry (fully faired) and Andreas Kraus (Partly faired, Bülk) are on the track. Charly will also be faster than Jeff’s record, if Christian stopped now, Charly would be able to achieve the new 24h record.
*Update 2* I just received the information that the preliminary 24h distance is 1219km – 110km more than the former record by Jeff.
*Update 3* Final result on www.droplimits.de: 1223,25km in 24h by Christian von Ascheberg (an average of 50,804km/h). Charly rode 1159,18km in the same time. The distance of Andreas Kraus, who also finished the 24h on his Bülk, is listed with 489.3km, but this seems to be wrong, the value should be higher.
*Update 4* Andreas Kraus drove 815,5km. Thanks to all “Sources” at the track!

how old are they?
Christian is 52, Charly joined futurebike.ch in 1985 (given he was adult back then, I assume he is in his fourties now?). Don’t know anything about Andreas…
