The Alleweder 7 – Technical Details and Pictures

Alleweder 7 I wrote it before: winter-time is velomobile-time! It was posted on the Velomobilforum and published in Robs recumbentblog.com: Alligt is bringing a new velomobile on the market, the Alleweder 7.

A Mail to the German Alligt-partner Lohmeyer brought additional details und photos.

We now have the first AW 7 in our workshop, {...]

It is 77 cm wide, 25o long, 96 high, thus it is a bit leaner than the AW6,
looks slim and more sportive than the AW6.
Weight approx. 35 kg. Technical details are similar to the AW 6.
Maximal payload is 120kg (incl. batteries and motor)

As a cover, a part from the Quest ist used, see photos.

The Alleweder 7 is rather meant for sportive people, who want to go without motor
or the little 250 Watt-auxiliary drive.

The AW 6 does have a wider and deeper entrance area, hence warm air can easily leave the
vehicle and coming in and out is easier.
In the fast motor-version the road handling is a little better, as the track is wider.

The Alleweder 4 is meant for people who love aluminium and for
self-builders. It is approx. 1000 € cheaper than AW 6 und 7.

AW 4 and AW 6 will continue being sold.

current delivery periods:
AW4: 1 month
AW6: 2 months
AW7: 2 months

best regards,
Dietrich Lohmeyer

By the way: the luggage hatch of the AW7 seems to be very similar to the one of the AW6 and the Versatile-roof is mountable. The price of the Alleweder 7 is roughly 4900 Euro. Who is amazed that the AW5 is missing in Lohmeyers mail: it is just a shorter and thus lighter variant of the AW4 for smaller drivers.

  • Hallo,

Leider hat Alligt Ligfietsen das Alleweder 5 für kleine Leute aus dem Programm genommen.

Wir haben in den mehreren Jahren nur 2 oder 3 verkauft, dafür lohnt der Aufwand nicht.

    Grüüüße

    Dietrich Lohmeyer

  • Ah, danke für die Information.

For all English-readers: Dietrich Lohmeyer, head of Akkurad.com, German distributor and partner of Alleweder producer Alligt in the Netherlands just gave us the information that the AW5 is not available anymore as only 2 or 3 have been sold in the last years and the efforts are just too big…
    Thank you Dietrich,
    greetings,
    Grüße,
    Chris
