Since late october you could watch a video-clip on the azub-blog, presenting their employees on a bike tour. In this video trikes with an Azub-lettering became visible. Asking for news on these trikes at azub resulted in a press release the other day.
Azub is about to produce two different trike models: first they concentrate on a non-suspended model fitting into their low-cost “eco-line”. It has 20″ wheels all around and they seem to plan for disc brakes. However, at least one of the trikes in the mentioned video seems to have drum brakes. In the press release a price of 1700 Euro is mentioned. The trike is planned for release in 2010 for the company’s 10th anniversary. See the pictures of the prototype:
Additionally, Azub is planning a more expensive trike, which will have what Azub calls an “unusal system of folding and many other clever features” and which will go into production at a later time. We are looking forward to seeing more information on this development!
